I think it's cool. I also think the frame and mat are pretty perfect for it. Nice choices!
For me, the yellow provides motion which is then tamped down by some of the other colors, creating interest. I also like the fact that while we think we see it on first observation, no matter where we look there is detail upon detail.

It is small, 9x12, acrylic and penIt looks fairly small Shane … what size? I’m guessing either gouache or acrylic too? Lots of intensive work here!
